About All-Fundamentals Team
Welcome to the inaugural USA Football/NFLPA All-Fundamentals Team. The 26 NFL players on this team were selected based on the combination of their fundamentally sound play and their commitment to community. They weren't chosen based on statistics and accolades but because they are the players we think that youth football players should watch on Sundays and say, "I want to play like him." Our Selection Committee which consists of former NFL Players, coaches and executives, worked diligently to choose the inaugural All-Fundamentals Team roster.
Each of the 26 players on Offense, Defense, and Special Teams consistently executes a specific fundamental. That fundamental is highlighted and broken down on each player's page, while a corresponding drill teaches how to master that fundamental. This offers a great learning resource for coaches and players.
As part of this honor, each player will receive a unique trophy, as well as an equipment grant to bestow on any youth or high school football program he so chooses.
USA Football is the sport's National Governing Body, as well as the Official Youth Football Development Partner of the NFL, its 32 teams, and the NFL Players Association.
