Haloti Ngata is an All-Fundamentals Team Defensive Tackle for his ability to use proper footwork and leverage to get to the ball. He takes a proper flat step across the defender, stays low to get up field and wraps up to make the tackle.
Off the field, Ngata devotes his time to promoting diabetes awareness and prevention. Ngata hosted an essay contest for youth to talk about how diabetes has affected their lives.
